LaIA explores how language models can make public administration easier to navigate. The system combines web search with video creation to help younger users find and understand official Catalan information.
The project won AINAHack. Its central design problem was not simply generation, but grounding: the assistant had to find relevant public information and translate institutional language into a more approachable form.
